Ansah hasn't played a full 16 games since the 2015 season, but while his health has been an issue, he can still be an elite pass rusher. He had three sacks in a game three times last season, against the Giants, Bengals and Packers.
The franchise tag buys the Lions and Ansah until mid-July to reach agreement on a long-term contract. Otherwise Youth Derrick Nnadi Jersey
, he'll play on a one-year deal and make the average of the top five players at his position in 2018.
Although the NHL is still at the beginning stages of the season, it is never too early to look at the upcoming free agency class. This offseason is a bit strange because although there are some big names available, a lot of them are solely remembered for what they have done in the past rather than the present. A lot of the players available are definitely past their primes, but may end up scoring another NHL contract because of the popularity they have brought to the game. The NHL is a league that definitely displays a lot of young talent and they are starting to dominate the game.
With all that said, in this article, we will be looking at ten NHL players who will receive massive pay cuts this offseason and five that will cash in. The players on this list all happen to be older and that makes a lot of sense. It is very hard for NHL players to remain consistent as they age because, as previously stated Duncan Keith Jersey
, younger players are the beasts of the league. With that said, a lot of these players can still play in the NHL, while others most likely are in their last seasons. The five players that will receive big contracts all are players who definitely can be classified as in their prime, but that does not necessarily mean that they will be perfect for their deals. A lot can change in a few short seasons.
Nonetheless, let鈥檚 look at the ten upcoming free agents who will receive a large pay cut and the five who will cash in.
